Chesterfield charity marks 80 years of care for our furry friends

This month marks a special landmark for one of Chesterfield’s most well-known and popular charities.

For it was 80 years ago on 7th April 1938 that the RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire branch was founded.

Friendly rat discovered alone in field

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a friendly domestic rat was found straying in a field in Barnsley.

Starved dog ‘totally different’ after love and care
