Jessie
D2006035
Terrier cross
Female
Adopted 11th February 2006
Hello
I thought I would let you know how Jessie is getting along. She is settling in well and her sore paws have now healed. We do not have any accidents in the house now. We have a crate for her in the kitchen and also in the car. She still has separation anxiety and the most she has been left has been 1 hour. Having said all that she is wonderful. She is very gentle and sweet.
Regards

Meg
D2005336
Foxhound cross
Female - neutered
Adopted 15th March 2006
Hi All
As promised I have sent some of Meg’s first pictures, as you can see she is well and truly at home! She has been a total angel (if anything our other dog is the one who is driving us nuts, encouraging her to play wildly and being possessive over his food.) Last night we didn't even crate her, because she cries when we do, and both she and
Patch just slept like babies in the hallway, obviously I’m not tempting fate, so all doors to other rooms are shut tight and as we are in the process of totally refurbishing our new house there is absolutely nothing she could ruin in the hallway.
However we might need a rethink on the flooring front, boy does she slobber when she drinks....we've all got soggy socks! Had a huge forest walk again this morning and she met up with all Patch’s pals, Patch actually got quite jealous of her with the other dogs and told them off a bit, quite funny really. She actually got in the car willingly and didn't salivate quite as excessively - hopefully she is associating the car with a forest walk.
We have made the decision to only let Meg and Patch in the garden one at a time at
the moment because they had a wild run about this morning and I now have a
race track for a lawn! Also, she laps up human attention and is always pushing her head into me for a cuddle and we're teaching her to offer her paw to say hello but she
slides all over the kitchen floor when she lifts her leg up, doing the splits...very very funny!!!!
Many thanks once again for finding us Patch’s soul mate
Lots of love The Daltons and dogs xx |

Sky
D2006029
Boxer cross
Female - neutered
Adopted 12th March 2006
Hello
We thought you'd like to know how Sky is getting on. We have renamed her Cara (Italian for dear or sweetheart). She is settling in well with Jack and barring a few mishaps (weeing on the kitchen floor) she is doing really well and is a treasured member of the family.
Hope you enjoy the Pictures of Cara.

Harley
D2006081
Labrador
Male - neutered
Adopted 1st April 2006
To all at Chesterfield RSPCA
Just a quick note to let you know how well Harley the chocolate Labrador puppy is doing. He's into everything at the moment as you can imagine, but has settled in brilliantly. For some reason he has got a thing about sticks, and must go through picking up a dozen or so up every time we go out!
He went to his first training lesson last night and we were not the worst there so that’s a good start! We will try to get back to see you all soon and to show you how big he's grown! But for now here are a couple of photos.
Love Pete & Anne

Bruno
D2006040
Rotti cross
Male - neutered
Adopted 30th May 2006
Hi
I just wanted to send you an update on how Bruno (now called Neo) is doing. He has settled in great and I couldn't have wished for him to be a better behaved, lively dog with a cracking character!
He has a lot of quirks as we have found out, he likes watching TV especially animal programmes with dogs in and deal or no deal! He also loves the shadow chasing game to the point where we struggle to get his attention back!
I also wanted to say a big thank you for all that everyone did for me in helping me to adopt him. Everyone was so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. I'm really pleased I got a dog from you! Just to show you how he has made himself at home I’ve attached a few pictures.
I'll keep in touch, but thanks once again.
Kind Regards
Megan |
