Donations
Did you know that RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire branch is completely self funding? All our funds must be raised locally by a team of volunteers to keep our doors open. Our daily running costs can be in the region of £1000 a day so donations and fundraising are vital for our work to continue. Donating to RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire branch could not be easier so please help us help hundreds of unwanted and abandoned animals today.
Gift Aid
If you are a tax-payer the government will give the amount of income tax on your donation back to the RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch. This costs you nothing but means that for every £1 you donate we will receive £1.25. You can gift aid your on-line donation through JustGiving
Legacies & Bequests
A legacy or bequest to your local RSPCA can provide crucial funds. We could not carry out our work without such generous support. But please remember all RSPCA branches are separately registered charities, so if you want your gift to help animals near you, you must ask your solicitor to make it clear in your will. Ask your solicitor to quote our branch name and registered charity number so your gift will go directly to your local RSPCA branch.

Becoming a member of the RSPCA
You can become a member of the RSPCA for £24.00 a year. If you are under 17 and care about animals you can become a member of the RSPCA Animal Action Club. For further information about becoming a member please contact the animal centre. Once you have become a member of the RSPCA you automatically become a member of your local branch and can show your support in the work we do.
Bric-a-brac
We also are very grateful for donations of bric-a-brac, clothing and toys. Bric-a-brac and clothing can be taken to either our charity shops in the Chesterfield Market Hall or the animal centre. The animal centre is always in need of donations of pet food, treats, toys, collars, leads, towels, blankets and sheets for bedding.
Committed Giving
Just £5 taken out of your bank account each month will guarantee our centre a regular income and that's as little as 16p a day. If you want to help the animals then please contact the animal centre for a committed giving form.
Self Assessment Tax
Donating to charity through your self assessment tax return will be as simple as entering a unique number on your return. Individuals will be able to nominate a charity to receive their tax repayment as a donation. The Chesterfield and North Derbyshire branch of the RSPCA has already registered with HM Revenue & Customs to be able to receive donations this way. LAA93HG is the unique code number you will need to quote on your self assessment tax return for your donation to benefit the needy animals in the care of the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire branch of the RSPCA.
